VTRA Venturi pneumatic conveyors

VTRA Venturi conveyors combine a high vacuum level, down to −84.4 kPa, with manual flow adjustment by rotating ring. They are perfect for drawing denser materials or conveying over longer distances.

Four sizes are available, from the VTRA 250 to the VTRA 750 (3,396 NL/min), with female threaded ports, in anodised aluminium.

How it works

How does a Venturi pneumatic conveyor work?

A Venturi conveyor turns compressed air into powerful suction, with no motor and no moving parts. Simply connect it to your air supply and to a conveying hose.

  1. 1
    Compressed air injection

Air enters through the side port and fills an annular chamber around the central bore.

  2. 2
    Venturi effect

Air is accelerated through nozzles pointing towards the outlet, creating strong vacuum at the inlet.

  3. 3
    Material suction

Powders, granules, chips or small parts are drawn in through the inlet hose.

  4. 4
    Conveying and discharge

The air stream carries the material to the discharge point, with no risk of clogging.

Why choose a VTRA Venturi conveyor?

The VTRA range stands out for its high vacuum, ideal when the material is heavy, the circuit long or a significant height must be overcome. Its adjusting ring lets you fine-tune suction flow to the material conveyed, saving compressed air.

The tables above show air consumption and suction flow at each vacuum level: the higher the vacuum required, the lower the flow. Choose a model that delivers the required flow at your application’s vacuum level.
