VTRF 15-3 Venturi pneumatic conveyor: description

The VTRF 15-3 Venturi pneumatic conveyor generates a maximum vacuum of −9 kPa and draws up to 4,400 NL/min. Its Ø 38 mm inner bore and Ø 49.6 mm outer diameter allow direct connection to your conveying hoses.

Its large 38 mm bore accepts bulky, light materials: edge trim, paper, cardboard or textile.

Its straight-through design ensures a completely free inner channel: material passes through the conveyor without meeting any obstacle, eliminating any risk of blockage. Compressed air is injected through the side port (K) and accelerated towards the outlet; suction flow is simply adjusted by varying the supply pressure between 4 and 6 bar.

The body is made of light, sturdy, corrosion-resistant anodised aluminium. Two tapped holes (J) allow quick mounting on your machine.

Key features of the VTRF range

  • Straight-through design: very high suction flow, no clogging possible
  • No moving parts, no mechanical wear, virtually maintenance-free
  • Six bore diameters, up to Ø 38 mm
  • Flow easily adjusted by supply pressure (4 to 6 bar)
  • Built-in mounting threads for quick installation
  • Anodised aluminium body, light and corrosion-resistant

How it works

How does a Venturi pneumatic conveyor work?

A Venturi conveyor turns compressed air into powerful suction, with no motor and no moving parts. Simply connect it to your air supply and to a conveying hose.

  1. 1
    Compressed air injection

Air enters through the side port and fills an annular chamber around the central bore.

  2. 2
    Venturi effect

Air is accelerated through nozzles pointing towards the outlet, creating strong vacuum at the inlet.

  3. 3
    Material suction

Powders, granules, chips or small parts are drawn in through the inlet hose.

  4. 4
    Conveying and discharge

The air stream carries the material to the discharge point, with no risk of clogging.
